Councillor calls for dental services at Ballymote Primary Care Centre



There are calls on the HSE to provide adult dental care at the Ballymote Primary Care and Mental Health Centre.

Currently the centre provides the service but to under 16s and adults with special care needs only.

The HSE says it’s not in a position to expand the service for all at the moment.

The issue was raised at the latest sitting of the Regional Health Forum west by Local Fine Gael Cllr Dar Mulvey, he says it must be revisited as some people in the community have to travel to Sligo town or Boyle in Roscommon for dental care:
