Donegal’s Ryan Griffin leads Flogas Irish Amateur Open



Ballybofey & Stranorlar golfer Ryan Griffin enjoys a share of the lead at the halfway stage of the Flogas Irish Amateur Open at the Island Golf Club in Dublin.

The Donegal man is at level par following Friday’s second round of 74.

He’s in a three-way tie for the lead along with Mark Boucher (Carton House) and Robert Moran (Castle GC).

There are three Co Sligo golfers in the top 15 at the end of the second day’s play.

Sean McLoughlin is two-over par, Aodhagan Brady is +4 and TJ Ford is at +5 after a second round of 74.

Rosses Point’s Sean Flanagan, who plays out of Portmarnock, is +8 at the halfway stage.
