Cyclists gear up for Lough Key Classic



The Lough Key Classic, which is run by local cycling club Curlieu Wheelers, returns on Sunday, May 15th with two distances on offer.

Riders on the 120km route will depart from Boyle Sports Complex at 9am before taking on a challenging route pedalling through counties Roscommon, Sligo and Leitrim.

While at 9.30am, the 70km riders will also depart from the Sports Complex on an equally challenging journey.

Both distances will have a mid way stop for refreshments at King House in Boyle.

Entry cost €20 for Cycling Ireland members and €25 for non Cycling Ireland members. Participants will also receive a hot meal (included in the entry fee) at the end of their cycle.

Entries will also be accepted on the morning of the event, but the organisers would appreciate if intending participants registered online in advance so they can ascertain numbers for catering.
