The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s Annual Delegate Conference is getting underway in Sligo later today.
The three day event is being held in the Radission Blu Hotel Sligo.
300 delegates are expected to attend the organisation’s first in-person conference since 2019.
Over 40 motions will be debated on cost of living increases, hospital overcrowding, safety in the workplace, the impact of COVID-19, recruitment and retention and more.
An emergency motion on the Cost of Living and the Building Momentum agreement is also due to be debated on Friday morning prior to the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly making an address to conference.
