Donegal is one of three counties where pro-life marches are being planned for next month.
The Donegal march will be on Sunday, May 22nd, in Bundoran at 3pm.
Other marches are to take place in Galway and Cork.
Donegal pro-life campaign spokesperson Sile Quinlan says it’s important the public is informed about what she described as Ireland’s ‘spiralling abortion rate’ and to start focussing on practical ways to reduce the number of abortions.
She adds that 13,243 abortions took place in the first two years of the new law coming into force.
Corinne Jane, media officer with the pro-life campaign, told Ocean FM News why they are organising regional marches now.
