The Under 20 footballers of Sligo and Leitrim are both in Connacht Under 20 Football Championship semi-final action on Wednesday.
Sligo host reigning Connacht champions at Markievicz Park. Dessie Sloyan’s side enjoyed a strong pre-season defeating Fermanagh, Longford and Leitrim in the Philly McGuinness Cup. They were defeated in the competition’s St. Patrick’s Day Final by Westmeath.
At Avant Money Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada, Brendan Guckian’s Leitrim welcome Mayo, who under the guidance of former Mayo player Maurice Sheridan, enjoyed a narrow quarter final victory over Galway in the Connacht Championship.
Both games throw-in at 6.30pm with live commentary of Sligo against Roscommon and updates Leitrim and Mayo on Ocean FM on Wednesday evening.
