Both the Sligo men’s and women’s senior rugby teams enjoyed victories on Saturday.
The women’s team (pictured) lifted the Connacht Invitational Shield for 2022 with a 40-14 win over Ballina.
The men ended their recent losing streak in Division 2B of the Energia All-Ireland League with a fine 29-19 win at home to Dungannon at Hamilton Park.
Sligo came from 14-0 down in this game to score a bonus-point victory thanks to tries from Euan Brown, Ryan Feehily, Cal Goddard and James O’Hehir.
Sligo are sixth in the Division 2B table after this latest win.
