Donegal TD fears for Ireland’s neutrality

A Donegal TD is emphasising, what he says, is the ‘importance’ of Irish neutrality.

Independent Deputy, Thomas Pringle, believes the country plays a vital role in being militarily neutral on an international level.

The conversation around the nation’s neutrality has come to the fore following the Russian invasion of Ukraine which, Deputy Pringle fears, could lead to Ireland loosing it’s status.

Speaking to OceaFM News, Deputy Pringle says because we are a small, neutral nation, others around the world will listen to what we have to say.
