A major extension to Coola’s Post Primary School, near Riverstown in County Sligo, has received the go ahead from the Minister for Education, Norma Foley TD.
The extension comprises general Classrooms,a Science Lab, a Science Prep Area, an Art Room, Music Room, Multimedia Room, SEN Units, other rooms and the removal of prefabs.
Minister Frank Feighan said the exact funding amount will be held back to allow a competitive tendering process that he hopes can get underway as soon as plans are completed later in 2022.
