A Status Yellow Wind warning for a number of counties, including Donegal and those in Connacht
remains in place until 10 o’clock this morning.
There are currently very strong and gusty south to southeast winds and motorists are advised to drive with caution because of possible debris such as tree branches fallen onto roads..
There has also been heavy rain overnight with a possibility of flooding in places.
