Leitrim is one of four counties in Ireland to have no road deaths so far in 2024.
There have been 71 fatal collisions to date this year, which is an increase of 15 on the same period of last year.
The only other counties to record no road related deaths in the first four months are Longford, Laois, and Monaghan.
Mayo ranked second in the highest amount of deaths with 8, only behind Cork on 10.
