There are 57 Covid-19 patients receiving treatment in the north west’s two main hospitals according to the latest HSE figures.
29 patients are in Letterkenny University Hospital and a further 28 in Sligo University Hospital with one patient in both hospitals in the ICU.
When it comes to hospital overcrowding, 74 people are awaiting admission in the region.
42 are waiting for a bed in Letterkenny, the second most overcrowded nationally and a 32 are also waiting in Sligo.
