Works have been completed on Sligo Town’s primary drinking water treatment plant which will result in a significant upgrade at the Foxes Den plant.
Irish Water and Sligo County Council have upgraded the Foxes Den treatment plant, providing a 50% increase in capacity.
Director of services with Sligo County Council Tom Kilfeather says this is a major step in improving Sligo’s infrastructure network which boosts the potential for future development.
