The Minister for Education has confirmed that she has instructed her officials to discuss with Donegal ETB submissions seeking support for children impacted by MICA.
Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle, pressed the Minister on the matter in the Dáil adding that children are living under very severe pressure.
Deputy Pringle says schools need to be able to respond to their needs with additional support measures.
In response, Minister Norma Foley said she would have officials from her department meet with Donegal ETB to discuss the points the ETB want to discuss.
