Latest restrictions could signal the last dance for wedding bands



A Donegal musician is warning that new restrictions which will force Hotel bars to close at midnight will be a hammer blow for wedding bands that have been struggling since the start of the pandemic

 

The Government is warning that the latest round of restrictions being introduced from today may not have the desired effect on Covid-19 case numbers.

 

Bars, restaurants and nightclubs will now have to shut from midnight, while covid certs will also be required to go to cinemas and theatres.

 

Weddings will also have to wrap up by midnight, as hotel bars are included in the new closing times.
