A Sligo nightclub owner says the new closing time for late night venues is workable.
Cabinet agreed today that midnight will be the closing time for bars, restaurants and nightclubs from midnight Thursday.
Fergal Quinn, operator of Lola Montez, says while the new closing time will bring it’s challenges, so long as other restrictions, such as table service, are not introduced, it won’t have as major an impact on businesses.
He says hopefully people will socialise a bit earlier as they have done in the past.
