It’s now emerged that two men were taken to hospital following Saturday’s burglary in Sligo Town.
The incident occurred at a residence on the Ballinode/Hazelwood Road area shortly after 8pm.
Two men, both aged in their 20s were taken to Sligo University Hospital to be treated for their injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.
