A Spokesperson on behalf of Good Energies Alliance Ireland says there are genuine concerns being expressed by those living in Ballinaglera over the impact that the recent landslide which occurred there this week will have on farms, the quality of water and existing forests in the area.
A landslide took place earlier this week in the Corralubber townland.
Local residents have expressed their fears that further landslides may take place in the coming days.
Leslie O Hora from Good Energies Alliance Ireland, a non-government organisation that are based in Ballinaglera says local landowners are looking for immediate remedial work to be carried out in the area impacted by the landslide.
