A Fine Gael TD says that the 60 million euro fund earmarked to address the Mica and Pyrite crisis will be revisited by the government.
Donegal TD Joe McHugh says an extra 20 million has been allocated to the existing baseline amount to address the crisis which is impacting homes across the north west.
The Donegal Fine Gael TD says that the allocation available will have to be increased with the ever-increasing number of homes impacted by the conditions which destroy concrete blocks.
Deputy McHugh says assurances have already been provided by the Minister for Public expenditure and Reform, Michael McGrath during the budget that the situation will be revisited by the government.
