Four new Sligo wastewater treatment plants officially opened



Four new wastewater treatment plants in Co. Sligo were officially opened today.

Irish Water have invested €16m into the development of plants covering the Strandhill, Grange, Tubbercurry and Ballinafad areas.

Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Paul Taylor attended the official opening of the sites this morning.

He says the plants will bring many benefits to these areas.
