A Donegal Councillor and hotelier believes the negative impact Brexit will have on the hospitality sector is being overlooked because of the pandemic.
Micheal Naughton fears it could be much worse for businesses than Covid-19 has been for the past 18 months.
He says there are a number of other contributing factors such as lack of staff, rising energy and maintenance costs and difficulties in attempting to import products from the UK.
Councillor Naughton says the current climate means it’s a ‘race to the bottom.’
