Donegal GAA has ordered a replay of the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure SFC game between Ardara and Realt na Mara, Bundoran.
The decision was conveyed to both clubs on Wednesday evening following a hearing by the county’s Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC).
Ardara won the original game two weeks ago by a point, but Bundoran subsequently lodged an objection contending that Ardara had used six substitutes during the match instead of the allowed five.
That objection was upheld on Wednesday, so the sides will have to meet again.
Ardara have the option of appealing the decision to the Ulster Council.
Bundoran are scheduled to play Killybegs this Saturday in Gaelic Park at 4:30pm – while Ardara travel to take on Milford the same afternoon (3pm).
