The 2021 West of Ireland Golf Championship makes a welcome return to Co Sligo Golf Club in Rosses Point this weekend (Sept 4th & 5th) – and Ocean FM Sport is teed up to bring you extensive coverage of the event.
On Thursday, we broadcast a special one-hour preview programme from 8-9pm – this will also be available as a podcast. Simply search for ‘Ocean FM Ireland’ wherever you get your podcasts.
On Friday, we’ll have live updates from the championship venue throughout the day on Ocean FM as qualifying takes place.
On Saturday, the Champions begins in earnest with two rounds of strokeplay. We’ll have live on-course commentary from lunchtime on oceanfm.ie – and Saturday Sportsbeat from 2-6pm will have extensive leaderboard updates every 30mins from 2pm onwards.
On Sunday, Austin O’Callaghan introduces coverage of the final day’s play from Co Sligo Golf Club from 2-7pm, as the Championship reaches its climax.
