Yesterday afternoon the Donegal Mountain Rescue team were involved in a major operation along with the coastguard, to assist a walker who had fallen in the Sliabh Liag area.
The scene was attended by personnel from the rescue team along with those, Killybegs Coast Guard and R118.
The casualty was treated by R118 and airlifted to Sligo hospital.
