Sheep farmers accuse factories of trying to pull the wool over their eyes



A leading local farm official is expressing concern this evening at what he says is the alarming drop in prices for lambs.

Sheep farmers are claiming that prices have reduced by as much as 20 euro per head over the past month.

Leitrim farmer Kevin Comiskey is the vice chair of the IFA National Sheep committee.

He says that factories are attempting to pull the wool over the eyes of sheep farmers:
