Sligo/Leitrim Fianna Fail TD, Marc MacSharry says he’d resign if a Mica redress scheme is not changed to meet 100% of the costs.
The government is under pressure from homeowners to meet the full costs of remediation works with the majority of homes impacted being in counties Donegal, Sligo and Mayo.
Thousands of people protested in the capital over the scandal on Tuesday of this week.
