Minister of State at the Department of Health and Sligo/Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says the rollout of the Covid vaccine in pharmacies throughout Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal is an importance advance in fighting the virus.
The Janssen single-dose vaccine, made by Johnson & Johnson, is available to people over the age of 50 who have not yet received their vaccine.
Minister Feighan says people getting the vaccine in pharmacies will not have to book online but will have to make an appointment.
