People encouraged to attend appointments at community health clinics

In the latest update from the HSE, all Community x-rays and online group psychology sessions in Donegal are cancelled.

Most community health services are operating as normal across the region, however, appointments for new clients in the G.U.M. clinic in Sligo are cancelled.

Those with children due an audiology, hearing aid or earmold appointment are asked to phone ahead to confirm.

Ophthalmic appointments scheduled for the Primary Care Centre in Barrack Street, Sligo continue as normal while those with appointments in Sligo University Hospital are asked to phone ahead before attending.

The HSE says it’s still a long way from having most services back up and running following the recent cyber attack.

The executive says progress is being made, but a decryption key provided by hackers isn’t unlocking some systems.

CEO Paul Reid says the attack continues to create problems.
