Gardaí have confirmed the discovery of bones in Donegal on Wednesday belong to an animal.
An area in a forest close to the Meenbog wind farm by Ballybofey was sealed off yesterday following the discovery.
A technical examination took place involving the State Pathologist who confirmed they are the remains of an animal.
The investigation is now closed.
