Sligo Rovers win 3-1 at Dalymount

Second-half goals from substitutes Mark Byrne and David Cawley gave Sligo Rovers a 2-1 win away to Bohemians in Tuesday night’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division game at Dalymount Park.

Jordon Gibson had given Rovers a first-half lead but Liam Burt brought Bohs level in the early moments of the second-half with a stunning equaliser.

However, despite looking out of sorts at times, Rovers fashioned a second goal with Byrne doing well to apply the finish.

The introduction of midfielder David Cawley improved things too – and he supplied a powerful third goal in the closing stages.

The result takes Sligo Rovers clear at the top of the table on 11 points.

Tuesday night’s results
Bohemians 1 Sligo Rovers 3
Longford Town 0 Finn Harps 0
Derry City 1 Dundalk 1.
