Latest 14 day incidence rate



Two local electoral areas in Sligo registered less than 5 cases of Covid-19 in the latest 14 day incidence rate figures published by the Department of Health.

The Sligo/Drumcliff area as well as the Ballymote/Tubbercurry district returned the figures of fewer than 5 cases.

 

There were 12 cases detected in the Sligo/Strandhill area which represents a figure of 56.8 per 100,000 of population.

 

11 cases were detected in the Manorhamilton area, this gives a percentage figure of 101.7 per 100,000. The highest percentage figure of all the local electoral in this region.

The Manorhamilton MD also had the highest number of cases recorded in Leitrim after 7 cases were reported in Ballinamore and less than 5 in Carrick-on-Shannon electoral areas.

 

Meanwhile the Donegal local electoral area recorded 17 cases or a percentage of 64.2 per 100,000.  This was by a distance the lowest number of cases detected in all 7 local electoral areas in the county.

 

Letterkenny and Milford registered rates of more than 400 cases per 100,000.
