The Sligo Traveller Support Group is marking International Women’s Day with a number of events that include an online discussion, music and song.
At 3pm today on the Traveller Group’s Facebook page, there will be a discussion with a number of guests on what International Women’s Day means to them as well as highlighting some of the issues affecting Traveller women.
At 7pm, there will be a performance from singer, songwriter and musician Trish Reilly, a member of the Traveller community.
