The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, today confirmed locations for 37 vaccination centres, with at least one in every county.
Sligo’s Centre is at IT Sligo, Donegal’s at IT Letterkenny.
The Leitrim centre is at the Primary Care Centre in Carrick on Shannon.
HSE boss Paul Reid visited the Sligo centre yesterday, Sunday.
Over 13 thousand people over the age of 85 will receive their Covid 19 vaccine this week in either their local GPs or in a vaccination centre.
People in this age cohort will receive either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine over a three week period.
Paul Reid says other age groups will be vaccinated after that.
