A Status Yellow warning for snow/ice is in place for Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
It remains until 12pm Saturday and also incorporates counties Cavan, Monaghan, Mayo and Roscommon
Met Eireann are warning of hail, sleet and snow with icy and hazardous conditions.
