Sinn Féin will forward a motion in the Dáil this evening which if successful will force the Government pay student nurses and midwives immediately.
Donegal Sinn Féin TD for Donegal, Pearse Doherty TD, has called on the Minister for Health to quit delaying and pay student nurses and midwives now.
Deputy Doherty says that when student nurses and midwives that attending third level institutions, are being asked to fill employment gaps in fron services; and for that he says they should be paid appropriately.
