Maurice McLaughlin appointed Fermanagh U20 boss

Fermanagh GAA has appointed Maurice McLaughlin as the county’s new under-20 football manager for 2021.

The Ballyshannon-based publican is currently in charge of the Erne county’s minor team who are preparing for an Ulster minor championship quarter-final against Down this Sunday (Dec 20th) at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.

McLaughlin’s backroom team with the U20s looks impressive. It will include Kilcar and Donegal footballer Mark McHugh, former Fermanagh footballer Colm Bradley and current player Ryan Jones.

However, McLaughlin’s immediate focus is Sunday’s minor quarter-final. All four Ulster minor football quarter-finals take place on Sunday at 1pm. The games are being streamed live by Ulster GAA.

The Donegal-Tyrone minor quarter-final in Ballybofey will also be live on Ocean FM’s 105fm frequency and on oceanfm.ie in association with Donegal Plumbing & Heating.
