Pat Duffy not to seek re-election as chairman of Aurivo



The Chairman of Aurivo Pat Duffy has confirmed that will not seek re-election.

The Gortletteragh, Co. Leitrim native has been a member of the board since 2002 and was elected Chairman of the Co-op in 2016.  Previously he had served as vice chairman of the company for a period of 9 years.

The Co-op has been around in some form for a number of years beginning as the North Connacht Farmer’s Co-operative Society (NCF) in 1972, rebranding as Connacht Gold in 2000 and Aurivo in 2013.

Speaking to Ocean FM news, Mr Duffy said it was a decision he did not take lightly:
