There is growing tension in the North West and Border region of the impact of Brexit on several local businesses, particularly with ovid-19 also severely impacting the economy at present.
It’s been claimed that the impact of a no deal Brexit on Counties such as Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal would be ‘disastrous’ but it would be even worse for the UK.
That’s the view of Fine Gael TD Neale Richmond, as talks are to continue between Britain and the UK in London today to try and reach a deal.
The discussions are expected to continue into next week, with obstacles remaining over issues like fisheries and governance.
