Bank of Ireland branch in Bundoran to temporarily close

Bank of Ireland has announced that it will close it’s Bundoran branch on a temporarily basis.  Outlets in Bunbeg and Glenties will also be closed on a temporary basis.  The decision has been taken to help ensure continuity of service at its Letterkenny branch.

Staff will be redeployed from the affected branches to support the continued operation at Letterkenny, which opened yesterday (Monday) following a deep clean in line with HSE guidelines.

Bank of Ireland have confirmed that the ATM in Bundoran will continue to operate for withdrawals only and customers are being advised to use the Bank of Ireland branch in Ballyshannon. Customers affected by the Glenties closure are advised to use the Donegal Town or Dungloe facilities.

Donegal MD Councillor Barry Sweeney hopes to see the branch in Bundoran opened again as soon as possible.
