An allocation of funding of over 65,000 euro has been allocated for two fisheries projects in the north west under Ireland’s European Maritime and Fisheries Fund Programme.
€32,396.84 has been allocated to Sligo County Council for a temporary pontoon, along with €33,465.81 to the Sligo Yacht Club for improvements to facilities in Rosses Point.
Minister for State at the Department for Health and Sligo Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says the funding will help develop both facilities.
