The first passing of the UK’s new Brexit Bill has been described as a worrying for many businesses based in the North West.
That’s according to a representative from the Border Communities against Brexit group.
The Bill, which would undermine the Brexit withdrawal agreement, passed its first hurdle in the House of Commons last night.
Coordinator with Border Communities against Brexit Damian McGenity says the fact that the Bill was passed with a majority of 77 votes is hugely concerning for North West businesses.
