Commercial rates are being waived for over 100,000 payers in County Sligo.
Credit will be applied for a 6-month period beginning the 27th of March to the 27th of September.
Sligo County Council will automatically apply the credit to eligible businesses; those excluded include utilities, banks and large supermarkets.
Sligo/Drumcliff Fianna Fail Councillor, Donal Gilroy, says it’s aimed at smaller, struggling business in the county.
