A status Yellow weather alert will take effect tonight across the region.
The warning begins from 9pm tonight with it remaining until 9pm Tuesday.
The forecaster is predicting heavy rainfall across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
While a seperate Yellow alert for strong winds will also be in place for Munster and Wexford from 6am until 7pm tomorrow.
