The Cabinet is approving legislation today which will provide pay increases for three super junior ministers.
They are each getting an increase of €16,288 in addition to their Minister of State salary of €124,439.
The increase applies only to the super junior ministers.
Sligo Leitrim TD Frank Feighan is not a recipient of the increased salary.
The decision to increased the pay of the three cabinet junior ministers drew stinging criticism from Sinn Féin’s spokesperson on Finance, Donegal TD Pearse Doherty.
