The Chief Executive of Donegal Council Council, Seamus Neely, has announced he’s stepping down from his role.
Mr Neely, who has led the Council for 10 years, will leave his role at the end of this month.
His departure was confirmed at today’s meeting of Donegal Municipal District in St John Bosco Centre in Donegal town.
It’s understood Mr Neely told Council staff of his departure by email on Monday evening.
