A Sligo Leitrim TD has questioned the logic of using the National Convention Centre for Dáil sittings.
Fianna Fáil TD, Marc MacSharry make the remarks during this morning’s sitting of the Dáil.
Deputy MacSharry says the financial resources used in hiring the Convention centre at a cost to the tax payer of 25,000 per day could be re-directed into supporting small to medium sized businesses that need assistance now more than ever with the challenges associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
