The latest Covid 19 figures show there have been two consecutive days with no reported deaths for the first time since March.
There is some worrying news for the local region however with four new confirmed Covid-19 cases being recorded in Sligo. There are now 145 cases in Sligo. One additional case has be reallocated for Donegal resulting in the total number amounting to 466. There are 82 cases in Leitrim.
Tens of thousands of devices have already been registered in the HSE’s Covid Tracker app ahead of its launch today.
Around 850,000 euro has been spent developing the technology.
