Sinn Féin stimulus plan to provide lifeline for tourism and hospitality sectors



Sinn Féin have launched a tourism and hospitality stimulus plan with the aim of saving local jobs and boosting the North West’s economy.

 

 

The plan which is valued at €860 million would revive the two sectors hit hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic and would provide a particular boost to areas such as the North West which is heavily dependent on tourism and hospitality.

 

Under this scheme, every adult in the State would receive a voucher worth €200, while every child would be entitled to a voucher worth €100, to be spent in businesses in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
