The Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD will announce a major allocation of Government funding for two major regional enterprise projects in Sligo and Leitrim later today under the Enterprise Ireland Business Enterprise Development Fund 2020.
Eleven successful border county projects from the North East and North West have been approved to share in the €17m Border Enterprise Development Fund 2020.
In total, over €4.8 Million is being allocated to the Sligo – Leitrim Constituency.
In Sligo, €1.9 Million has been allocated to ‘Sligo Leitrim ITS Regional Development Projects to help with the costs associated with the setup of a Digital Futures Manufacturing Centre, based in Sligo.
The Manorhamilton Innovation & Development CLG has been awarded €2.95 million to develop a new Innovation and R&D Centre for the Quarry and Construction industry.
