Bank of Ireland to re-open Ballymote Branch



The Bank of Ireland branch in Ballymote in re-open it’s doors on June the 29th.

 

Bank of Ireland were called on last week by Local Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey to clarify their plans for the future of the branch in the South Sligo town.

The branch had been closed due to the Covid -19 pandemic despite branches in neighbouring towns remaining open.

 

Bank of Ireland have now confirmed that the branch in Ballymote will re-open at the end of this month.

 

Cllr Dara Mulvey says the decision represents  good news for the business community and local residents of the town
